This page provides information for Club Bridgewebs Admins ( Admins) to enable them to provide access to BW-Apps safely and securely, while ensuring their users experiences the optimum experience.
Functional Overview
Create an Expense
Users submit their expenses, including receipt images to the Treasurer as soon as the expense is incurred. The User receieves a confirmation email that the expense has been submitted and the Treasurer is cc'd. Users can review the status of all the expenses they have submitted.
Users do not need to login to submit and Expense, but do need to login to see the list of all exoenses they have submitted
Review and Manage Expenses
Treasurers login and see a full list of all expenses. The list has the names and email of the person who has submitted the expense. They can mark the expense as approved and assign a category to expense.
The Treasurer can download a csv list of all the expenses to support the creation of their Clubs Financial reports.
Assign an Expense Category
A Treasurer needs to be logged login and see a full list of all expenses. The list has the names and email of the person who has submitted the expense. They can mark the expense as approved and assign a category to expense.
Manage Expense Categories
Treasuers can create and "delete" the expense categories for their club.
Note categeories are only marked as inactive, to avaoid any reporting issues with old expense reports which may have used a category.
Intial Setup
The BW-Apps app has been designed for use with Bridgewebs and it is recommended that club members access the app and submit expenses through the Clubs Bridgeweb site. It is possible to access the site directly without any changes to Bridgewebs. All setup options are described below.
Before a club can use BW-Apps their club must be loaded into BW-Apps by the BW-Apps admin.
The club needs to provide 2 pieces of information, their Bridgwebs donain name and the Treasurer email address .
Direct Access
BW-Apps can be accessed directly through the bw-apps url. This means that The Bridgeweb club domain name is used to enable access for the club.
The Bridgeweb club domain is available to those with Admin access from Bridgeweb -> Settings -> Site Details.
Example
if your Bridgewebs Domain = www.bridgewebs.com/myclub
Then you access BW-Apps using this url https://bw-apps.agenorltd.co.uk/site/myclub
Access through Bridgewebs
The preferred approach is to embed BW-Apps into Bridgewebs using an iframe. A guide on how to do this is below :

1) Add a News Item and assign it to the Hold Page.
Provide a Title for News Item.
Use the text editor to add an iframe

When you add the IFrame widget to the page the IFrame dialogue is displayed. You need to enter the IFrame details.
2) Update IFrame dialogue
URL : The url prefix is https://bw-apps.agenorltd.co.uk/site/
The url suffix will be your club name from the Bridgewebs domain. You can find the Bridgewebs domain name in Bridgewebs -> Settings -> Site Details. The Domain name is at the bottom of the page.

Bridgewebs Domain name =

List News Items and view the Hold page. You should see BW-Apps displayed as below :
